V. Rose was inspired by the footprints left on their ceiling from an Olympia house party set by Joey Casio (r.i.p.) to form SPINES in 2015. After mostly playing birthday parties, sticky punk shows, and exclusive bedroom sets to their Boston terrier, V moved to Portland in 2023 and was embraced by the local electronic music scene. V. stubbornly creates in the realm between genres, preferring to be guided by emotion and love of the absurd. SPINES wants you to dance and feel free!
